Unlocking Investment Opportunities in DRC: Financing, Collaboration and Focused Sectoral Growth.

KTA Advocates in collaboration with East Africa Business Council and the Embassy of Uganda in Democratic Republic of Congo is organizing a regional business forum scheduled to take place between 18th to 21st July 2023 in Kinshasa DRC under the theme: ‘Unlocking Investment Opportunities in DRC: Financing, Collaboration and Focused Sectoral Growth.’

The forum seeks to discuss opportunities for investment for Large, Medium and Small Enterprises, to foster strategic partnerships between businesses in the East African region, to discuss the challenges that hinder cross border trade between regional businesses, opportunities for trade in the African Continental Free Trade Area and to foster collaborations and solutions to regional and continental trade. The forum will also provide an updated version of the Doing Business in the EAC publication for the year 2023 providing insights on the regional business environment.

Panelists and invited guests shall include government officials from the EAC & African region, representatives from multinational companies, regulators, academia, civil society, regional integration experts, regional economists, regional institutions, representatives of SME Associations, representatives of women and youth entrepreneurs, development partners, representatives from the private sector and businesses from the region, financial institutions and representatives from business associations among others. The event shall be hybrid; with over 300 participants attending physically and over 200 targeted participants from each country in the EAC attending through our online channels.
